Job Requirement

Key Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare onboarding kits, welcome letters, and collect necessary documentation.
  • Conduct virtual induction sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Create and issue experience and relieving letters upon employee exit.

Recruitment Support

  • Post job openings on portals and coordinate with hiring agencies.
  • Screen applications, schedule interviews, and manage candidate communications.
  • Maintain recruitment pipelines and assist in shortlisting candidates.

Payroll & Salary Coordination

  • Collaborate with finance to process monthly salaries.
  • Maintain accurate records of working hours, leave, and other payroll-related data.
  • Handle reimbursements, bonuses, and statutory deductions as applicable.

HR Administration

  • Manage and update employee data in Zoho People or equivalent HRMS.
  • Track attendance, leaves, and generate HR reports.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, leaves, or salary.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all HR documentation is up to date and securely stored.
  • Help with offer letters, contracts, NDAs, and other employment documentation.
  • Support basic compliance with labor laws and startup HR best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
  • Proficiency in Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, or equivalent HRMS platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in remote onboarding and handling contractors/freelancers.
  • Knowledge of India-specific labor and compliance regulations.
  • Exposure to performance appraisal systems or employee engagement activities.

Work Hours

  • Approx. 16–20 hours/week (flexible)
